Each week, The Traveling Twosome chooses a picture from one of our journeys, junkets, shows, or competitions for the Pic of the Week!  Leave your comments on our picture and join in the fun!

This week’s pic captured the next to last hit in our recent mixed gender boxing match.  A follow up left-hand hook by Char ended our match that was held at Ken Wayne’s School of Professional Wrestling.

Lesson learned from our experience:  Don’t mess with Char.

The Traveling Twosome will try just about anything... once. This shot captured the next to last hit in our recent boxing match. A follow up left-hand hook ended the match at Ken Wayne's School of Professional Wrestling.

This is a great picture of the week, Char. Maybe your best yet. I still wish we could see the whole video but I don’t think you’re going to do that are you?

Bravo Char. Most average men stepping into the ring against you would probably leave the ring on your shoulder after getting knocked out.

  5. Hmmm, I guess I can hold my head high after all! After all, I did walk out of the ring on my own two feet and I wasn’t carried out on a stretcher or over Char’s shoulders! Of course, I had Char’s laughter ringing in my ears behind me and I was wondering what all those stars were that I was seeing in that place – but otherwise I was doing alright! 🙂

That was funny Louis 🙂 My former landlady used to train for boxing in her gym. She was the one who told me that I would have to be carried out of the ring if we ever sparred. When I expressed disbelief she went ahead and actually picked me up on her shoulder. Not surprising since she was fit and 5’11” tall as opposed to my height of 5’6″. It was a unique and fairly funny experience.
