Louis and Char arm wrestling live in Hot Springs

The final event of The Traveling Twosome Olympics was held before a live audience in Hot Springs while filming an episode of A Day in the Life with master illusionist Maxwell Blade.  Char and I once again decided to battle it out in one of our infamous mixed gender arm wrestling competitions… a rematch of the event that kicked off the entire Traveling Twosome Olympics.

We entered the night with Char leading by 9 points.  The arm wrestling event was worth up to 100 points:  50 points each arm, doing both left and right arm competitions.  Considering the way things have gone in the past, this meant Char was practically a sure bet to win the Olympics.  I have beaten her right handed but never left handed – in fact, not even close left handed.  In the first arm wrestling competition for the Olympics, she won fairly easily with both arms.

In a bizarre twist of events, however,  I won with the left arm but lost with the right arm, giving Char the Traveling Twosome Olympics Championship.  The final score for the Olympics… Char 417  –  Louis 408.

Here’s the video of the entire event – complete with crowd interaction.  We both had our share of cheerleaders in the crowd on this night rooting us on toward victory.  If you weren’t fortunate enough to be there in Hot Springs to see it live, then enjoy the video!

We thank KLAZ 105.9 and The Spur 101.5 FM in Hot Springs for promoting this event as well as our TV Show,  A Day in the Life.  We had a great time meeting some of our fans in Hot Springs and look forward to coming back again very soon!

We also want to thank Maxwell Blade for opening his theatre to us for the event.  Learn more about Maxwell Blade when we air “A Day in the Life of a Magician!”  Maxwell is not only an outstanding magician, he is a great guy who we are proud to count as our friend.

We had a great time this month for the Olympics – yes, even if Char did win (which means I’ll have to endure more of her gloating “girl power / you got beat by a girl” rant).  She and I always have a great time together and our playtime and competitions are all just part of the formula for a fantastic marriage!  Perhaps we’ll put on The Olympics again next year… in the meantime, stay tuned to this site for many more exciting adventures from The Traveling Twosome!

  4. Milt,

Yes, I must admit. You are correct. To be honest I had a right hip injury that had just happened about an hour before filming. I could barely walk. I worked through it and had a blast!! But next time….. Louis is going down again with both hands!! You can count on that!! *wink*

Congratulations to Char on winning the olympics though I did not think it would run this close. Full credit to Louis for coming back on the armwrestling matches. I was actually waiting for the ‘lift-off’ where you guys would compete in lifting a common weight (or even more interesting, each other). That will be a very good comparison of physical strength and can be your next contest. What say ?

I’ve watched all your arm wrestling matches on your site several times now and am wondering when are you going to do another one? I think this one is your last one, right?

    #3798
  9. Cliff – Yes, that one was the last one we did. We’ve got our current plate full right now with a few things going on but I’m sure at some point, Char and I will return to the arm wrestling table. We’ve also been asked to do a rematch our now infamous wrestling match from A Day in the Life of a Professional Wrestler. From our initial understanding, this event will be aired both on our own show as well as on a Pay Per View wrestling special. More details on this will come… Pretty wild, eh?

Is it possible to place a chatbox on your website to get more interaction with your fans?

    #6941
  15. Thanks for the request… at this time, with our busy filming schedules, it would not be possible to keep up with an online chat. We encourage interaction with us by sending us comments and emails. Also, be sure to tune in to our radio show regularly. Our radio show is much more informal than our TV show or website posts. Often, our fans have suggested things via email or left comments online that we have discussed on our radio show… we’ve even done some of the things our fans have suggested after bantering about the idea on the radio show.
