October 2010 is finally here!  And that means one thing… It’s time for The Traveling Twosome Olympics!  We’ve got an entire month long marathon of competitions planned leading up to the final event held live in Hot Springs, Arkansas where we will tally the points and announce the winner!

You can keep up with us on our site all month long to see who is in the lead and what events are coming up next!  There will be competitions posted each day in October!  Be sure to sign up on our email list to stay informed of all the latest!  Without further delay, let’s move on to the first event:  Arm Wrestling!

The Traveling Twosome has been putting on our mixed gender arm wrestling competitions for quite a while now.  Char and I tied the first time and I lost the rematch big time.  So what better event for our first Olympic Challenge?

The event included both left and right hand matches.  100 points were up for grabs in this competition (50 each arm).  Char won both left and right handed, taking all 100 points in the first contest of the Olympic Games.

Here is a video of the event to see how it all went down…  it was a bad start to the Olympic Games for Louis and a great jump start for Char.  The next event scheduled is to be held tomorrow (Saturday, October 2) and is a Tug of War Battle to take place in the Wolf River!  That’s right – IN THE RIVER!  You don’t want to miss this one.  Will Louis even the score or will it be a Girl Power weekend for Char?  Be sure to sign up on our email list to keep on top of all of our events!
