Imagine sitting across from your best friend talking about the challenges of life. Imagine the feeling of warmth and comfort you find when you realize there is no other person in the world who could bring such joy and peace in such a crazy, mixed up, chaotic world. Imagine a moment in time when God nudges your heart and you suddenly realize your best friend is much more…. when you realize that he is the love that you had always dreamed about. He is your fairy tale come true. That moment when your eyes meet with a certainty that you are his and he is yours. That moment when God whispers to you that He has brought you to the one HE has chosen to be your spouse. The first moment when you finally admit that you have fallen head over heels in love.

Louis and I shared those very things I just spoke of. We began our journey as band mates whose friendship grew. We grew closer as friends when we began praying for each other at a time when we were both striving to save what could not be saved in our own private lives. Eventually we became best friends and began doing Bible study together, praying together and helping one another when there was a need. We continued to play music together which also gave us continued enjoyment that we shared as best friends.

One very special day along our journey two best friends had the most amazing awakening. My words to him after that nudge from God within my heart were “Louis, where were YOU 19 years ago?”  That was all it took. Our eyes met with such an intense love and we knew we would become one and be together forever.  This is the beginning of the most amazing and beautiful love story of Char and Louis Magnifico.  Together we share our journey and we vow to live out and appreciate to the fullest every moment with pure hearts and pure love.

We spent the days ahead preparing for our families to become one.  We spent much time together exploring, playing, praying, and simply bonding.  God had prepared our hearts together as a blended family from the beginning.  It is the most beautiful gift anyone could ever receive.  We are so grateful for our 3 outstanding children and for each other.  Our family, our marriage and our lives together is full of extraordinary, incredible love.

Surprisingly there was a natural heart already placed on the tree right by our front door facing the walkway as one walks up to enter our “House of Peace and Love”.  The fact that this heart was never noticed by anyone before Louis and I got married made it extra special to us.  As if this heart suddenly appeared.  A beautiful gift.

I had been wanting to engrave the heart since we first laid eyes upon it.  Finally one beautiful spring day while Louis was at work I began planning and etching.  I had a very picturesque  engraving drawn out with the intention of having ivy vines with beautiful roses budding all around the heart.  However, I had broken “the” tip of my wood burning engraver.  Yep, I broke the most necessary tool to help me beautify this Tree of Love. I refused to allow that to stop me. I had a plan. I was driven by my LOVE for my sweetheart. I was going forward and making this gift for my handsome, amazing, and perfect for me husband.

When he arrived home it would be the first thing he would see before entering through the door.  I would be inside awaiting his arrival with  loving arms to wrap around his neck and a passionate kiss to  show my Love for him.  It would be!!

As I engraved our heart I also began making a video.  I wanted Louis to know just how much I thought about him when we were both busy working throughout the day and not within arms reach of each other.  Click here to watch the HD Version 25 MB MP4 videoClick here to watch the Standard Definition Version 14 MB MP4 video.

I did complete the basics of the heart.  I do desire to one day surprise him again with the ornate design I had planned.  I guess in one way it’s cool that “the” tip had broken because it gives me another special thing to surprise my loving husband with when he arrives home from work when he least expects it.

Little things such as this can intensify an already amazing marriage between two people.  Take these special moments to share your passion.  Enjoy every opportunity you have to enhance your romance.

Louis, sweetheart, I love you more today than yesterday but not as much as I will tomorrow.  Forever and Always I desire to show you just how much I love and appreciate you.  You have made me unbelievably happy.  Thank you for asking me to marry you.  Thank you for giving me the honor of being your wife.  Thank you for being my best friend.

All of My Love,

Oh – and that “where were you 19 years ago” line… By far, the best pick up line of all time. Just thought you’d like to know. I love you!

Awwwwwwww Shucks! *blushing* Thank you, Susan!! What a sweet comment to leave! You made our evening!!

We sincerely hope and pray that sharing our fun loving adventure in life brings much joy, smiles and laughter to others! If just one couple sees that everyday stresses of life do not have to take control of your marriage and family life and seek to find more joy in all things then we are even more thrilled! Life is full of challenges and stresses….but we should never let those things “steal our JOY”.

Thanks so much for reading and leaving such a wonderful comment! Keep visiting often. Louis and I have many updates coming up soon in the making! Share our website with your friends and family! The more the merrier! *smile*
