Spread the love

Each week, The Traveling Twosome chooses a picture from one of our journeys, junkets, competitions, or good times at home for the Pic of the Week!  Leave your comments on our picture and join in the fun!

This week’s pic is a bit interesting.  It is from inside the retro store, Flashback, in the Cooper-Young area of Memphis, TN.  I shot this picture because I noticed the bust of Elvis was looking at the word “Levi’s” from the Levi’s Jeans statue.  It looked like Elvis was realizing that the difference between himself and a pair of Levi’s Jeans was nothing more than a transposition of the letters E and the L.

Elvis and Levis
The only difference between Elvis and a pair of Levi's Jeans is a trasposition of the letters E and L.

Imagine…being one typo away from a back pocket instead of the King of Rock and Roll!!!

Think how I feel…. If I transpose two letters in my name, I get Luois. It’s a crying shame, really.

Oh, and just curious Laura – what do you think of the hoopy pic I took anyway? You like the coloring of Elvis and the Levi’s statue? I’m wondering if I can win our own Pic of the Week Contest with it?
